Forex: USD/SGD (US Dollar vs Singapore Dollar)

If you are looking for an interesting pairing, the USD/SGD pairing might be for you. This is another good dollar combination pairing the US dollar with the Singapore dollar at the rate of 0.6597 U.S. Dollar. While it may look that the Singapore dollar is devalued against the US dollar, the exchange rate currently has it at 1.5159 US dollars. This is the current rate as of this writing of this article. So there is room to work with on this pairing. The rewards are great for those who can act fast when the market is right.
USD/SGD can be used to advantage in the Singapore markets. If the financial conditions are right, the savvy trader can make a profit. However this pair is not a classical cross currency pair. A traditional pair will not have the US dollar in it due to volatility. With that being said, you will also need to buy enough of both currencies in the base currency which is US dollars and sell it in Singapore dollars. If you don’t have enough, then you run the risk of shorting yourself with the trade when it goes to sell. This can be disastrous for the trader in question.
However, you need to remember that with careful market analysis and watching market trends, the USD/SGD pairing will work nicely. Remember that the markets all over the world are in a constant state of flux. When the opportunity arises grab it with both hands! Jumping the gun or moving too slow can cost you in the Forex world.
