Forex: AUD/JPY (Australian Dollar vs Japanese Yen)

When dealing with Forex, AUD/JPY quotes can come up very often. This is another of the cross currency pairs that can be used to advantage when wanting to take advantage of a market forecast or trend that favors a strong currency. In this quote, the Australian dollar is in the base position and the Japanese yen in the counter position. Depending upon which one of the two is the stronger of the two currencies and which one is the weaker of the two, you have a currency pair that can make things happen especially in the midst of market fluctuation.
For the conversion for the Aussie and the Yen, the current exchange rate as of this article being written was the Yen at 72.1148 versus one Aussie. This would indicate that the Yen is the stronger of the pair and the Aussie the weakest of the pair at this writing. AUD/JPY can be used to take advantage if the Australian market surges or the Japanese market takes a nosedive. This is all depending on the market and circumstances in the two countries in question. Each set of circumstances is going to be different from the last.
So if you want to make a profit off of AUD/JPY, you wait until the market signals and analysis show that it is time to sell this particular cross currency set. Circumstances can change minute by minute depending on the financial market and world events. But, once that indicator goes off, then you sell the pair for a profit.
